Use Case Diagram: Enrollment system of Old Student

Brief Description of Use Cases:

>> Payment for Local Councils - Student pays their miscellaneous fees in their respective Local Council.
>> Issue Receipt – Treasurer of Local Councils will provide receipts after student pays their fees.
>> Evaluation and Advising – Student are evaluated in their grades and advised them by their adviser of which subject should they choose.
>> Release PRF – Adviser will give a copy of suggested subjects to a student.
>> Fill-up PRF – Student then fill-up their PRF advised by their advisers.
>> Encoding – Student encodes their chosen subjects.
>> Release COR – Encoder then give a COR as a print out of subjects for student.
>> Payment for Tuition Fees – Student then pays his Tuition as well as miscellaneous fee.
>> Issue Receipt – Cashier issue receipt to student upon payment.
>> Enrollment Validation – Student ask registrar to validate its account and be officially enrolled in the course.
>> Activation of Students Library Card – Validate students account and enable to use of Virtual Library.

Assignment 3 on SAD1

Considering my personality type in data gathering techniques used in system analysis, I usually have a habit of observing in gathering information. As an observer, Its my obligation to find possible problems and finding ways to fix. But observation will not give much detail information, its just an information you see in an overview. In comes with critical information gathering, I am most comfortable with using a questionnaires where you can ask much detailed questions. After all information has been gathered in questionnaires, I can now create protocols and have an interview for confirmation and improvement.

Assignment 2 on SAD1

Relating the SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) in achieving my objective in life, I would preferred to have more predictive approach than adaptive approach. I choose predictive so that I can measure of what im going to do and preparation to make for creating and achieving my objective.

For me, details in SDLC model would be..

Preparation....

In achieving goal, You will have to adjust or adapt to your surroundings and environment cause its much better to have a good environment and companies at your surrounding in undertaking your objectives. You will also know your capabilities and limitations in terms of your resources. With this, I have to know and manage my abilities and limitation first as my source of courage and develop experience.


Initializing a Plan...

Undertaking objective needs to have a plan as the solid backbone of performing a task. Planning is a preparation for predicted occurrence in every step of the phase. In planning, you will have to know your role and able to fulfill that role in regards to your capabilities and limitations. You will initialize a plan according to your experience, knowledge and available resources. Planning will be studying the plot of making right decision for possible problem in every step of the phase.


Testing...

If plan is initialized and can be tested, then you have to test it if it works. Testing is observing, recording and gathering information for possible negative effects. This is the stage where the plan will be complete almost perfectly. Testing can also become experiences.


Implementation...

The moment at work. It is the phase were you are working in undertaking your objectives. As you're taking your objective, you must stick to the plan and try never to shift for alternate output. You must also keep a record in every phase of your work. Make your work smooth and try to avoid conflict and errors.


Counter Measures...

In implementation of your plan in undertaking your objectives, there are times that an unexpected event can occurred. For this, you will have to prepare a prediction in your plan for solving such problems. In case that it occurred, then pause at that phase and try to fix without affecting other phases of your work. You can get help and advice to others who is similar to your problem.


Maintenance...

After you accomplished and complete your objectives, value your work and experience. With your accomplishments, you can help others and both of you can share idea and experiences of handling encountered problems. And don't forget to give thanks to God and others who lend a hand in your accomplishments.
